BEYONCÉ KNOWLES' all-leather Super Bowl outfit has been criticised by animal rights group PETA.
"We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés, she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully," a statement from the association read. "Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.
The black one-piece was designed by Rubin Singer, reportedly using engineered python, panelled iguana and trapunto/pick stitched leather and took more than 200 hours to create. The star has come under fire from PETA before, after wearing a fur coat at Barack Obama's 2013 inauguration.
