Kim Kardashian Pleaded With A Judge To Declare Her Marriage Over

For obvious reasons, Kim isn’t all that fond of the idea of being wed to Kris when giving birth to rapper boyfriend Kanye West’s baby this summer.

"I firmly believe that an immediate dissolution of our marriage will help create a new, full life for me. She said
"One chapter will be officially over, and a new one can begin. The same should hold true for [Kris],” Kim writes in court papers filed last month.

Kim, 32, filed for divorce from Kris in October 2011 after spending just 72 days of marriage together and the pair have been involved in a legal battle ever since.
The mum-to-be is requesting immediate divorce action and is offering a compromise for the marriage to be legally dissolved with other issues (such as money) can be settled in court at a later date.

Kris, 28, isn’t having any of it, though. The NBA star wants the option of re-marrying in a church and is seeking an annulment on the basis of fraud.
He refused to take any blame or burden for Kim having an “apparently unplanned pregnancy” by another man so won’t be complying with his estranged wife’s demands.

Kim explains in her declaration: "I am currently pregnant by a man with whom I began a relationship well after I separated from Kris.”
"I do not want to be married to Kris when I have my baby," she adds.
"I am requesting the status of my marriage be determined for now for not only my health and welfare but also for the health and well-being of my unborn child."
"I should not be constrained in my financial and social endeavors by the fact that [Kris] and I have a marriage which now exists in name only.
"I do not want the status of my marriage to affect any investment I wish to make, such as the purchase of a new residence."
In a recent interview with a US radio show, Kim admitted: “In a perfect world of course I would love to be divorced.
