Rick Ross was involved in a car accident on Jan. 28 (his birthday), when a gunman opened fire on the rapper and his female passenger. Luckily, no one was wounded, but hours before the shooting and subsequent car accident, Rick was tweeting about smoking and drinking at LIV nightclub in Miami, where he was celebrating his birthday
Rick was driving the Rolls-Royce when it crashed, but police are not claiming that any use of drugs or alcohol led to the car accident.
Gunshots Fired At Rick Ross’ Vehicle At 5 AM
After leaving the club in Miami, dozens of shots were fired at Rick’s vehicle at around 5 AM in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, according to TMZ. None of the bullets hit the vehicle, but they did hit multiple buildings.
Rick reportedly crashed when he tried escaping the gunfire.
Police have made no arrests and no suspects have been identified.
Detective DeAnna Garcia, of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department says ”We are currently looking for members of the public to come forward with information. No one was arrested and we have no suspects. The victim (Rick Ross) co – operated with the police on scene and was released. No one was injured or taken to hospital.”
